Research Interests:
My interests are in population dynamics, community structure and conservation, especially spatial issues such as the roles of habitat fragmentation and limited dispersal. Current research projects include the following: (1) regional-scale patterns of invasion in California grasslands, (2) population persistence and community diversity in plants on serpentine outcrops.

Teaching Interests:

Ecology, conservation biology, natural history.

Courses Taught:
ECL 208 Conservation Biology (Graduate)
ESP 100 General Ecology (Undergraduate)
